How to Mount Caruso Iso-Bond
Here are some frequently asked questions about how to mount Caruso ISO-Bond. Below are examples of how you can easily mount panels and build your ultimate bass absorbers. There are quick and easy ways to mount them, such as using metal discs and neodymium magnets or wood plates.
Ceiling with Metal Discs and neodymium Magnets:
Using Metal discs or stips is a very easy way to mount panels on the ceiling because there are neodymium magnets with a hole in the center to just fix the magnets on the ceiling and to attach the panels directly. his does not work for walls because the magnets can pull very good but not in the vertical direction. You can find the metal discs here
Walls or Ceilings with Wood plates:
You can also use Wood plates for mounting Caruso ISO-Bond panels. They can be glued on the back of the plate and you can use hooks and chains or nylon strips to hang them off the ceiling. For wall attachment you can use hooks and anchors like with a picture.
For wall attachment you need one wood strip or two squared small wood panels like in the picture below. Then you can thread two hooks, left and right into the center of the wood plates to attach them on the wall.
Wood frames for Wall attachment
For a specific design or if you want to cover the white, melange or black panels with a specific acoustic fabric, you can use wood frames. Wood frames allow you to easily hang the frames including the panels on the walls with hooks and anchors.
You can also attach the panels at any ceiling easily using the wood of the frame as base for your hooks. In the following picture you can find an example.
