Classi-Audio Elma 24 Position Stepped SHUNT Attenuator

Classi.Audio SHUNT Attenuator is a quality audio 24 Position PCB based Attenuator which is available as THT version without resistors or pre-assembled version with low-noise metal-film resistors in 200K,100K,50K,20K or 10K - Custom values ans resistors are possible as well. On top of this PCB is an Elma switch with 3um hard-gold plated contacts. The Shunt signal-path is from audiophile aspects similar to the ladder type schematic but much more space efficient as you need only one wafer. The signal of this shunt attenuator crosses only one input impedance resistor which is the shunt resistor and one loading resistor which makes the specific dB reduction. Because of only two resistors in the signal path an ultra inear low-noise attenuator switch for your high-end application is achieved. No parallel, 90 degree or crossing traces and shortest signal path lengths - The whole signal path of the Classi.Audio SHUNT PCB design is based on highest quality standards to meet audiophile demands for high-end and studio applications.
